Photo Scanning  - Services and Pricing options

We scan any photograph provided to us loose, in shoe boxes or in bundles up to A4 size.

​

We scan at 300, 600 or 1200dpi print resolution to high quality JPEG files using the latest in Pro-Level Scanning Technology from Epson.

​

All scanning and post processing work is completed locally - We DO NOT outsource or send your material away from our premises.

How to sort your Photographs:

• All photographs must be stacked facing the same way, removed from albums, clean and dust free.

• Arrange them in the same direction and in size order.

• Remove any staples, paper clips and adhesives.

• We will assign a job name (Normally your surname) and photo is numbered and then each digital file scanned from the photos will be sequentially numbered, commencing from 001. For example - Smith - Photo 001, Smith - Photo 002, Smith - Photo 003, Smith - Photo 004.
   

Standard Service:

• Photographs scanned at 300dpi.

• Photographs correctly rotated

• Images copied to your USB drive. USB drives can be supplied by us if required, and we do so at cost price.

• Photographs will be scanned in the order provided into one folder. 

 

Superior Service:

• Includes the Standard service, but with photographs scanned at 600dpi

• Basic brightness adjustment

• Digital ICE dust removal

 

Ultimate Service:

• Includes the Superior service, but with photographs scanned at 1200dpi

• Brightness, contrast and mid-range adjustment

• Colour enhancement

 

The correct resolution:

• 300 dpi - This quality is perfect for slideshows, TV, social media and smaller prints.

• 600 dpi - This is great for photo books, limited editing, and print to around A4 size.

• 1200 dpi - This will provide advanced editing, and print to around A3 size.
